I thought the battle at the end seemed forced and unimaginative, especially compared to things in the previous book, like when
[spoiler]they ran down the Big Coffin Hunters, raided the oil tanks, and led everyone into the Thinny[/spoiler]or in the first book when
[spoiler]Roland wrapped up business in Tull[/spoiler]

Other than that, I thought most of what happened and was said in WotC was very cool, if exhausting.

But yes now I remember what you mean by subtitle.

Yeah, the battle in Wolves was definitely the worst so far.

[spoiler]Probably because, in a way, it didn't matter as much to them as the previous battles did; all the previous ones involved people who were directly opposed to the gunslingers, but in this one, they go out of the way to aid people but you can tell they really care about the Dark Tower more...if that makes sense.[/spoiler]

That is why books are still around but albums are starting to be released on flash drive rather than CD

If I could have something built like a book, with a cover and numbered pages and everything, but with nanomachines in it that would allow me to bookmark and hilight and ctrl+f, that would be an improvement.

Anyway, I finished Song of Susannah, so now I'm starting on the final book, The Dark Tower. It's a bit sad that it's ending, but I do have a feeling there will be epic things happening.

And the last part of the final chapter of Song of Susannah...I thought it was nightmare fuel (technically high octane nightmare fuel if TV Tropes is anything to go by).

Yes. It's sort of like Half Blood Prince in that it's the calm before the storm in a way. The book isn't "calm" by any means, but there's that feeling of buildup...

So far VERY enjoyable, though I can't use a bookmark or let my sister know what page I'm on. *sigh* <3

So far it's the sort of story that I REALLY love and would enjoy writing. There's just something about YA fantasy books. ^_^ And imagining a cute 12 year old Meggie is just the greatest. I'm totally in love with her character.

Her jumping out of the car and demanding to know what the hell is going on was the greatest scene ever. And her walking into one of her aunt's rooms having that intense urge to pick up one of those books she's forbidden to touch is just something I can SO relate to. <3

Just read The Third Witch. It was good, and I like how the author takes advantage of certain ambiguities in Macbeth (the third assassin, the messenger, etc.) to weave Gilly's story with that of Shakespeare's.

But the end was a bit of a letdown. While anyone who read Macbeth would know that Gilly's plan would fail, the parts after that were a little too perfect. And a bit too random with all of the characters reintroduced. And it was corny.
