It is indeed a pickaxe, because noodles says so.

Besides, I didn't even know what it was for a while, its a habit I have of putting random blades in my hands.

Also Zamisk, being an artist yourself, how is the drawing in particular?

On his hand, the thumb is too high and the lengths of the fingers aren't quite right. (try using your own hand as a model) The head's shape isn't quite right either, try filling the hair out a little more in the back. And the neck is too skinny, unless you meant that as a stylistic choice. Oh, and the axe-thing should be in 3-D at the bottom, if it's angled like you have it.

Other than that, it's good, the body looks really good, and I really like the eyes

The paper I drew on was really small, that gives it sort of a "stretched" look, and thanks! I'm really bad at drawing hands, and knowing whats wrong with it is good.
