My one friend who has played the series didn't really like it. T_T

That said, it's totally his fault I got EO3, and thus totally his fault that you guys have to put up with me! \o/

The only person I know who plays the EO games... is my cousin who lives in Minnesota... So I'm kinda envious about both of you too XD

I've tried to get some friends into EO but to no avail v_v

The secret to an EO pal is telling them ahead of time that they're going to love it, no matter what, and sell them on all the qualities that make it a nightmare. My OG Etrian pal and I managed an EBGames together, and sold the game as 'unforgiveable controls, horrible inventory system, sub-par equip/shop interface, absolute must have', and that did a great job of selling it to the right customers. (this was EO I/II, before they went out of their way to make it accessible and friendly in III).

We just independently liked the same things. Now I'm sad.
