I try to keep my desktop pretty clean. I have pretty elaborate directory trees to store all of my things in, and buttons on my keyboard mapped to the most important folders.

Like Starfe, I generally try to keep my desktop clean, and I have keyboard shortcuts to various places. Since there's not much to see here, I've included a photo of my real desktop configuration inline.

This is what my desk looked like this morning when I got up. I keep it clean most of the time, but one of my roommates and I decided to get blasted last night, watch Harry Potter 5 and 6, and then watch Pirate Radio until 7:20 in the morning. My room is like a war zone.
