Well, currently, my wallpaper is this:

Personally, I think it's very beautiful.
The colours are really smooth and warm.

Well, so, I've become infatuated with Trauma Team and my favorite character is SR-C01. I LOVE his eyes... well, his whole character, but those eyes are intoxicating.

So, I went on the Atlus site and downloaded the SR-C01 wallpaper so I could just have those eyes staring at me suddenly when I'm least expecting it :3

Except... since I use a PC my icons are all left-aligned and... :O one icon fell EXACTLY on one of his eyes. Just fucking hides it! And I'm too much of a organization-freak to just move the icon and have that spot empty.

So... I made my own! :3

I assume he's a bad guy?

He's not the villain of the game, really, but... He's a prisoner who's working as a surgeon for a brief time to get years reduced off of his sentence. He is one of the playable characters. He's very direct and to the point. So not "the" bad guy but he is a prisoner under maximum security with a 200 year prison sentence.

His story is one of the best in the game (though they are all fantastic). :3 My inner fan-girl is absolutely taken with him.

Hey everyone, I haven't posted here in a while, but I was considering of getting these and build my own PC. I'm mostly going to use it for Photoshop, gaming, MATLAB/blah blah engineering software and whatever else my school gives me. I'm sure some ITL experts can let me know if the components work and if I can get some stuff cheaper ;o



Not a big fan of the case, but, eh. Should I get an extra fan?

Whatcha'll think? I'm really trying to get it around $900 or below.

As for the PC, what about peripherals? Monitor, keyboard, tablet, speakers? Card reader?
Why only 24× for the DVD drive? Surely there are faster drives nowadays.
Why only 750GB for the HD? 1TB seems to be the minimum these days. Considering how fast my own 500GB HD got full, 1TB seems to be reasonable if you're building a new PC.
The R800 (HD 5xxx) series isn't supported yet by X drivers, so you wouldn't be able to use all the features of this video card under Linux.
Black may look sleek and mysterious, but it shows every speck of dust. If you're the one doing the cleaning, you might prefer something more greyish.
Does the processor unit include a cooler/fan? Considering that the case also has three fans and the video card has its own cooling/fan, I don't think you need any extra.
ASUS was one of the companies linked to a recent on child labor in a Chinese factory. You might want to buy a different brand of mainboard.

Ah, I don't use my DVD drive for software either actually. Just playing DVDs and CDs, so I don't really care about its speed. I just thought that those things already passed the 50× speed a few years back.

My remarks were just things to consider, not recommendations or anything. It's been a few years since I built this PC, and I haven't been keeping up with hardware development and prices.
