A couple of months ago I was walking past my neighbors apartment. They had left their shades raised all the way up and I could see clearly into their living room. Their cat was alone. Standing upright on its hind legs. It looked at me and resumed cat like behavior.

What I'm getting at is that we're doomed.

Oh yes. I remember that as well. I mean, my fragile mind was already pretty messed up by EarthBound from the get go. The best part is where I decided to stay up late to play it through to the end.

Yes.

The most mentally devastating part of the game... played by what was probably an eleven year old staying up really late. On the flip-side of things, it made the heart-warming ending seem like something of a sanctuary. Paula's prayers really touched me, as well.

Suppose "smiles and tears" is a fitting title for that piece of music.

The ending is so amazing. I like to put in my full name whenever Tony prompts you, so its all the more epic. That game really immerses you in the characters and the ending.
