Just EarthBound. Though...
[spoiler]MOTHER 3 mentions him as a hero and you can see the adventures of Earthbound in the movie theater.[/spoiler]Don't go mixing up Ninten with Ness. Ninten is the main character of MOTHER and possibly Ness' father/grandfather. While they might look the same, there are key differences. Ness has a backpack and red shoes while Ninten has an ascot and blue shoes. Ninten also tends to wear his Franklin Badge and if they follow his clay model closely, half his shirt is tucked in. Another small detail are the hats: Ness has his hat to the right and Ninten to the left... but that's usually too much of a bother to draw. I tend to prefer the MOTHER characters over their EarthBound copycats, except Jeff Andonuts. He's way cooler than Loid. <3

What has always amazed me with fantasy is when they have robots and stuff but they refuse to use gunpowder. Even if they somehow don't have the knowledge to craft guns they could make like SAW SWORDS or something with all of that motor technology.
