I think its just some strange phobia of mine, thats not actually specific to spiders. In general, anything with more than 4 appendages freaks me out. And actually, the more appendages there are, the more freaked out I am. Centipedes and millipedes scares the shit out of me. That child that was born in India with 8 limbs as a result of a parasitic twin freaked me out so much I could barely read the news article. And actually, things that have fewer than 4 appendages dont really scare me at all (Snakes, 2 legged upright running dogs, Veterans).
