Mother series is amazing

and Ninten's avvi is adorable

Should at least try EarthBound. My personal favourite of the series is the original. Story and humour is as equally touching as EarthBound, but I prefer the more bare-bones battle system and character rotation. Also every time I hear the Eight Melodies and think of all the sacrifice that went into it, I want to cry. Overall I like:

Story
3 > 1 > 2

Gameplay
1 > 2 > 3

I did not like the gameplay in MOTHER 3 at all.

it was done for a contest where people designed huge monsters, and if they won it would be put in the game Rift or something, and they got a bunch of money and deviantArt points
