Re: Random Image Thread!
Pffft, Mac sucks. I will always be a PC user.
Actually, meh, I don't really tell a difference these days but there are things that I just absolutely dislike that a Mac does:
No fullscreen.
No simple start menu
The way photoshop works and is often glitchy on it
The placement of the close and minimize and maximize buttons.
Incompatibility with 75% of products. This number is improving with time, but...
*shrugs* Maybe if I grew up on Macs these little stupid issues wouldn't bug me half as much as they do. However, I'm too much bred to love PCs <3
I'd rather have something that I can work on rather than just something that looks pretty on the outside.
Now I realize someone (like scy) is probably going to come on here and try to disprove my list and show me all the ways that the computers are better. Don't bother. I use macs at school on a frequent basis. (brand new shit, too! o_o rather impressive. that's the benefit of certain departments growing I guess.) My ideas are pretty set in stone.

Haha, so I'm the only Mac fan 'round here? Ah, well. *hugs her Mac* This thing has served me extremely well for years now. It has done everything I've needed it to, with the exception of FFXIV. I did play WoW on it, though! And that went just fine. I wouldn't say I'm a fanatic who would buy anything and everything Apple makes just because it's got their logo on it, but I will say that whenever this Macbook of mine eventually dies I will have no reason to buy anything that isn't a Mac to replace it.

The best computers are the ones you build out of sticks you find outside.

Re: Random Image Thread!
You're not alone, Trif! *hugs his Mac* I've had three Macs and I've loved every one. There is no doubt that my next computer will be a Mac.
Edit: Thanks, scy. Folks can use whatever works best for them, and for me it's a Mac.
And yeah, gaming is indeed an important thing that, while the situation is improving, is still lacking on Macs.

Re: Random Image Thread!
I could tell that you were a Mac fan XD
I personally prefer Windows because everything is just more compatible with it <33
Using the Mac computers during school however, I could see how some people would prefer Macs to Windows...

Punching people is very romantic, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

@scy - Yeah, these things really aren't meant to be gaming machines, which is a definite drawback. I just happen to be one of those people who doesn't do a lot of PC gaming. I stick with consoles and tend to favor handhelds anyway. And yeah, sometimes I still miss building computers from the ground up. It's so much freakin' fun! Some of my best memories of high school were in my computer class, surrounded by gamer nerds (I think I was one of maybe 2 or 3 girls in that class), pulling the guts out of a cpu and putting it back together.
@negzee - Yay! *high fives* Oh, that's right! Aren't you the one with the iPhone? I'll be joining you in that soon. : 3 I gets mine in a couple of weeks.
@Maxine - It did take me a while to get used to the location of the minimize/maximize/close buttons, having grown up on Windows PCs... but now I just use shortcut keys anyway. ^ ^
Oh, here's a random image just so's I can pretend this post was on topic:

*vision of little Trifkin taking apart (and putting together again) a computer* Adorable! ^_^
You should find a picture of that witch to put on your laptop's lid though. That'd be wicked cool

I'm not a fan of mac computers, but I love iPods. iTunes isn't that great, but iPods themselves are bar none the best music players/whatever on the market.
