^ Most northern giants end up being negligible mooks, though the Fenris and the Jörmungand are technical giants. I'm pretty sure Hel survives. They may not be purebloods, though. I'm also not at all convinced Utgårda-Loke doesn't survive.

Southern fire-giants? They do pretty well. They make an entrance piercing the heavens. From the far side. The sky is made of bone, btw.

When I look at the children that Loki and Angrboda had, and then consider that Loki is a known shapeshifter... I realize that they must have had a very interesting marriage.

^ To be fair, the fire-giants actually call Muspelheim home, whereas most northern giants who bother showing up live south of Niflheim, like sissies. Granted, Niflheim is a pretty shitty location, as any realestate-agent will grudgingly admit. It's not hard to distinguish from Nifl-Hel for nothing.

I thought that Hel's domain was just a subsection there of. Kind of like how Scotland is a subsection of the British Isles.
