There's a garden.

@Reynard: I don't see how that's much different of a situation from other indoor-only house pets.

(That statement should not be taken to imply that I approve of confining pets to any kind of small-ish space like a apartment or house. I prefer allowing pets the freedom to come and go when possible.)

(I originally had hygiene products, bath and pool table in place of library, but in the end I think I'd go with the library.)

I strongly recommend the skylight for those remaining 2 points.

I'd be so smart after 10 years with nothing to do but read.

Again, really want the collection of all music but this is a cheap alternative where I still get lots of variety or tunes.

I get the feeling I'd kick myself after a few months of not having this.

As for stocks, I guess if you had books you could learn how to do stuff. But if you lost all your money you'd be trapped down there for 10 years with no reward. No thanks, I'd mess it up. At least I'd be getting 10 mil, lots of people here seem to opt for the 5 without doing stocks. Hm.

I considered getting the girl or doctor just for company, but I don't know. I don't think a sauna and a doctor for 10 years is worth 5 million dollars.

Ok, here are my picks! (The reason I am here is because Zam told me about this thing and forced me to do it. But I do miss you guys!)

Kitten - 6 (It was a toss up, but I think a kitten would do better inside. Either way, this is definitely my top pick. Someone to cuddle.)
Phone - 3 (A very close second. I would miss my friends and family too much without it.)
Kitchen - 6 (Not only is it healthier than fast food, learning to cook gives you something to do.)
Music - 4 (I need music, and I don't think there's a good show tune station. Plus I really prefer listening to entire albums, in order.)
Computer - 6 (Assuming you can watch your movie collection on the computer. Also a word processor would be nice.)
Library - 4 (Duh.)
Movies - 4 (I am way too addicted to my shows and I have a compulsive need to watch things in order.)
Garden - 2 (More space. Maybe it would even be natural light! If not, the air quality would be good, and having a change of environment is a good thing.)

For a total of 35 points, $5 million is enough for me!
