EOIII just seems flashy and tries too hard to be modern with the character designs. Wasn't the point of the series to feel like an old school dungeon crawler?

Zamisk is correct. EOIII suffered what I consider... "shonen'ing" up, where as a series progresses they just get out of hand with how ridiculous the characters become.

Anyone remember when RO had merchants, swordsmen and acolytes?
