I've been meaning to make an avatar for my mother for a while, but she wants something Chistmasy and I don't have any Christmas images she would like. Then I ran into something in my Xration folder and cropped.

They may only be Christmas colours but she loves it anyways!

... came across one of my attempts at drawing from when I was still a kid.

This is Nebel, she was supposed to be one of three heads of a chimera-like beast-thingie. (together with a dragon and a tiger IIRC, never expanded on the idea)

I wouldn't give up. I'll share with you a story when I literally became an artist over night.

Until a fateful day in November 2006 I was a terrible artist. Awful. The things I drew even just days before were no better than what I drew when I first picked up a crayon. I was in a graphics class at the time and I was THE WORST in class. I wasn't even holding a pencil right. I'm quite thankful that I sat at the back.

We got another assignment to do over the weekend. The word this time was "Ghost". I went home and felt tired so I went to sleep, waking up later at night. I decide to illustrate it and... I really had no idea what happened. Everything felt different. I was holding the pencil PROPERLY! I had a technique for drawing. My creativity was explosive. The picture came out great! From that moment I went on to be a top graphics student and the teacher liked my work so much that me and him still talk this very day. ^-^

It sounds really crazy but it's a true story! I forced nothing and got everything. Went from worst to best in a night. Maybe wishes do come true. I'm not sure if it's related, but I've also became a more emotional person around that time. I used to be a very cold, strong and cruel person.

... Sadly as of recent I have lost my artistic whoosh. It has gone on for so long that I couldn't bare to look at my sketch books anymore so I put them away for the first time since my artistic craze. I'm not sad or anything. I know it will come back to me.
