I want to move to Europe. England, more specifically. The problem, besides money? I'm currently learning American Sign Language for a translating career. ASL is different than ESL (European Sign Language) in that ASL steps away from English while ESL uses English word for word. For example, "My name is John, what's your name?" in ESL would literally be sign "My name is John, what's your name?," while in ASL the same sentence would be "My name John, your name's what?" (in terms of signs, anyway. The meaning is the same). Thus, my ASL might hinder me if I ever go abroad. At the same time I don't want to learn ESL on the off chance I ever decide to actually move to England.
It's a real problem.
I'll just stick to ASL.

I wanna move to England too, it's such a lovely country (and I actually know people who live there that I like).

Not true, I know girls over there who don't have a British accent. You know, immigrants are everywhere. Even in England. They brought them pizza. Glorious immigrants.

I am planning on living there for a few months if I ever take a gap year. Not sure how to go about getting a minimum wage job there though, it's probably complex.

Don't go to Germany. Ever. It's horrible here. Every German's English is soooooo bad here, it almost makes me cry. 10 years of English lessons at school and they can't tell the difference between there, they're and their. Ugh...

Probably depends on what part of Germany you're referring to. I'm living in the southwest, and I don't like it here at all.

England is expensive, stupid expensive. Petrol is like 1.30 a litre and yet the minimum wage for an over 21 is like 6.
To buy a one bed flat where I live (30 miles from London) it's around 140-160k.
English people's accents are very varied, listen to a Manc accent or a common London one and you'll not love them so much.

Gas is...not an issue when you don't own a car. I win!

Besides you need a car in the UK as public transport costs a fortune.
