I don't really believe in New Years resolutions as I tend to find that they're an excuse to say that you'll do something, then by the 2nd January, forget about them in a haze of a 2 day hang over and then carry on the same as before.
However, it's always nice to think about what you've achieved over the year... let's see:
Planned a wedding in about 4 months
Got married!
Went to St Lucia
Went to France
Fixed a broken toilet (huge accomplishment for me as I'm really not very hands on with things like that)
Planned a funeral
Helped my wife and her family through their loss
Didn't go insane from the stress of the year
Achieved various things at work, but you know, work is work.
Failures:
Didn't get healthy at all, in fact, I've put on about two stone (30ish lbs) this year. Granted I'm still like 13 stone (under 200lbs) but it's not good.
Didn't really pay attention to any of my sites
Didn't achieve as much as I'd've liked at work, partially my fault but more work's fault
Didn't go and see as many things as I wanted to (be it Museums, Gigs, Comedy shows etc)
