Starfe my man, your post count is 1337 *O*
The transit system here sucks the D. At 11-12 all of our busses shut down, and so does our train, even on friggin' New Years Eve. Our busses are WILDLY inconsistent with stop times, and our train only has 2 lines, making an >-< across our city, with both going through the downtown core. So very little coverage, which results in massive bottlenecks during rush hour. On Wednesdays if I go to the comic store too late in the day, I'll have to let several trains go by in order to squeeze onto a car. It doesn't help that Calgary suffers from terrible urban sprawl, but the transit system needs serious work, especially since parking downtown costs the second highest in North America, right behind NY. Also, an hour and a half costs $3 for an adult, which means you can't get across the city with one ticket. A monthly bus pass costs $95, I think, but I can't afford those right now.
tl;dr Calgary transit is my preferred method of transport

Already working hard to get my license è_é The transit system is not too bad (but not top-notch) in the town where I study, there are buses every 5 minutes (on the line I usually take to commute).
Does anyone know some puns involving clothing and the word 'cotton'?
I'm preparing a negotiation and I must gain the other party's confidence with good-humored conversation (including jokes).
There are a couple lines I came up with, like 'let's find a suit-able or tailored solution', and yes they are lame... XD

Bad puns have never cotton me anywhere.

Puns are the best thing ever and I wholeheartedly encourage their use.
Is there a thread for asking computer related questions? I'm making a computer and would like some input on the parts.

There are several people here who build their own PCs. I'm not sure how many hang around regularly in recent times, but go ahead and ask. This thread is as good as any.

Aight. Here's what I got so far.
I've already posted this on 4chan a few times and I've been told to swap Seagate and GeForce GTX 650 for something else. I also plan to kick it up to 8 GBs instead of 4 and the list doesn't include a DVD burner/OS.

I'm going to have to look some of this up when I get back home, but I will suggest getting two 4GB RAM sticks instead of one 8GB RAM stick.

Two reasons:
1) Better performance because of parallelism.
2) Probably cheaper.
I'll be honest, I don't really know the degree of the first point, and I may be wrong on the second point.

CD-Man - Check if the board has the matching socket for your processor. You probably already did that.
Also check if the HDD and DVD or the board come with SATA cables. Nothing as annoying to start building your new PC on a Sunday and have to wait until Monday to buy a cable you forgot.
