Maybe you can check the "Mark media I tweet as containing material that may be sensitive" box in Twitter's settings, and Maxine can uncheck the "Do not inform me before showing media that may be sensitive" box? I've no idea how that works, but it seems like what you're looking for.

I'm not going to have Trance be forced to mark her tweets just for me. ^_^ It's fine. I'l just remember to check her now and again through my followers list.

My day today was very busy on an already very tired AS. We just had a bank holiday weekend which I put two days leave on before so I had a nice and long weekend. We went to visit my other half's Mum as it was her deceased Dad's first birthday since he passed.

That all went OK but we left at like 1am on Monday morning and arrived home at like 5 or 6am, haven't seen dawn in a long time! But I got up early to maoe sure I'd sleep well for today and I clearly didn't get enough as I'm knackered. Work was stupid busy too.

In my last post here, the last part mentioned a different school I would consider applying for. Well, below is related to that.

tl;dr I am not in a very positive mood right now and all I really wanna do is lie down, but that would honestly just make it worse.

So does that mean you have to draw or paint directly on the cardboard? I'll bet if you print out something you've done digitally you could trace the outlines and then do the rest freehand... Cardboard is fun to paint on!

And the cost does sound difficult without an income. Are you able to work part time? Or get a loan? Or maybe apply for grants or scholarships? That seemsike such a small amount for a whole year. I know there's a bit of a time crunch, but if you spend all your days focusing solely on this, I bet you can get it done!

I have absolutely no clue what they want, but I did send an email to the woman in charge of the course, so hopefully I'll have some answers tomorrow. I did ask what they think of someone like me who draws digitally and some ideas, hopefully it's something not too complicated.

The money I'll have to solve through a loan. I mean, it's a good thing they are only two-times payments, so it shouldn't be too bad. So my money will mainly go to food and possibly bus card.

Yeah, anything is possible, especially with some upbeat music! I've managed to vent out a lot of my negative emotions by just singing along to songs and while not really close to finish anything, I have gotten lots (in my way) done today.

I'm paying about $6000 for my art college's yearly tuition, sans supplies. What kind of heavily subsidized utopia do you live in? Also, I totally know how stressful applying to art college is, I went through all of this this year. The one thing I realized is that while there are always people better than you, there are always people worse than you who still get in. And like you said, people go there to improve, and they take that into account. You'll do great! Just follow Trifkin's advice and blow them away.

I quit my job today. I have extremely mixed feeling on this. I need to save up for tuition next year but it was becoming a pretty crappy job. Comme ci, comme ca, I guess.

ZamZam - If it was really crappy, you probably made the right choice to walk away. While there are some situations where enduring the crap will pay off, for the most part it's better to leave a negative scenario in favor of actually enjoying your day-to-day life. What's the point of making money if you're completely miserable most of the time because of it?

I'm trying to get through college without student loans, and I'm still living away from my parents. I kind of need to work as much as humanly possible this summer, and it could take a while to find a new job.

My rent is cheap and my school is cheap, and I live pretty frugally. I handled it fine all year, so I should be fine. I might take one out towards the end of my schooling, so it wouldn't take as long to pay off.

There are three schools that I plan to apply to, one that I sent to a while ago. Today I got a letter from that school telling me I wasn't accepted. A bit of a downer, yeah, but I'm guessing it's partially because I sent it in last minute and I was therefore put very low on the list.

Today I need to finish some, as I plan to send in an application to my main hope: A two year course specified on the video game industry, seeing as it is my dream to contribute to what I love. This is gonna be my second year applying, and the one drawing I'm currently doing I actually like. It sure is better (in my opinion) then last years samples. <-- From last year.

I STILL haven't gotten an answer from the school I mentioned previously. So I'm going to need to make a phone call sometime soon, even though I hate making phone calls. I just get so nervous about making them. Otherwise I'm just gonna chance it and do as Maxine suggested and print some out and paste it on the cardboard and just write on the side it's digitally drawn (or something).
