I literally sung the same song over and over again for a little more than an hour and a half yesterday out of boredom. And just I forgot what the song even was.

Costa Rica's really boring. TBH the only fun things that I can do here are things that are fun no matter where you are n' stuff, like the internet.

But at least I'm halfway done today!

I started my internship this week, and I'm really happy with my coworkers although it takes me about 2 hours to commute (but time flies so fast I don't even notice it). It's mainly declaring goods for the moment, but in a couple weeks I will get busier. At least I work in good conditions, so no complaints^^

I know the feeling. Had an internship during the spring with 3-4 hours commute depending. The time was not an issue, between music and the magic that is portable gaming. It was more the sub -45 temperatures and having to wait between one form of transit to another.

Totally worth the experience I gained.

I was going to post this in the Touhou thread, but even though there is no rule against necroing, It didn't feel right reviving a 3 year old thread just for this, so I guess I will post it here.

I've always been against piracy (and those feelings have gotten a hell of a lot stronger since I was last active here), but, whilst I would never do so myself, I always felt a little bit of sympathy for people who pirated Touhou games, since they were so difficult to get legitimate copies of. I don't feel that way anymore.

A while ago I decided to kick my Googling into overdrive and hunt down the ones I was missing, expecting to spend days trawling through small Japanese websites. It turns out they were actually very easy to find. Hell, J-List of all places had all of them except for # 07 Perfect Cherry Blossom, which was acquired easily enough from champ_des_pins (by far the best Ebayer ever, though I'll save my gushing for another time). Note that, when I bought them, #13 Ten Desires was the latest, and I haven't gotten around to getting the new three yet, so my collection is technically no longer complete T_T.

I just did a quick check and, on J-List alone, you can still pick up all of the PC games for very cheap, with the exception of #09, #9.5, #12.5 and #14.3.

I know that that was a bit of a pointless rant, but I just wanted to get that off my chest.

It's a three day weekend and how am I going to start it. :3 With an all night binge of old fantasy movies and lots and lots of writing.

Going to start the night out with Willow, pop in Labyrinth, and if I have time, maybe some Dark Crystal. >:] This is what a Penna likes on her Friday nights. Wishing you guys were here to enjoy with me!

Oh man, that actually sounds like a lot of fun. I'll bring the popcorn!

I kicked major ass on my comic today, 5 pages drawn and inked, and then played DayZ with 3 other friends for just so many hours. Great day.

I'm about to have the best three weeks ever. After work tomorrow, I'll be hopping in my car to drive straight to Luling where I'll be attending that tiny house building course I think I posted about a little while back. Going to learn how to build from salvage materials. I can't. Freaking. Wait. When I get back I'll be attempting to kind of sort of maybe try to start a newsletter/magazine of some sort? It'll be articles about things that interest me ranging from how time works to metaphysics to self growth to book reviews to who knows. I don't know what to call it yet. Also I just joined a group of pagans who meet every week to talk about Druidry, which is fascinating. Other plans for the next few weeks include joining a nearby Buddhist center, going to the Museum of Printing History and starting a nerdy little book club somehow. o_o;;; Starting to be a busy Trifkin!

I saw one of those online a while back and am pretty sure I want to live in one eventually. They're so cool. Are you going to move into one?

Oh, I am absolutely going to move into one, just as soon as I build it. The goal is to build one by the end of this year, so fingers crossed! And I can totally hook you up to build one after I learn the necessary skills in this workshop. ;D I'll letcha know about the newsletter. Original Zamisk illustrations would be THE bomb-diggity. I still have to write stuff and find a couple of other writers for it, as well as design it all and decide what direction I want to take it in and figure out whether I'll be going all digital, all print or both formats. @_@

I have no idea where to ask this, so I'm just going to stick it here. While I was going back reading some of the discussion that has been going on since I left, I noticed a distinct lack of Scy posts, so I checked his profile and saw that he hasn't logged in since August last year. He hasn't used his GameFAQs account since November either.

This saddens me greatly, as he is a great guy, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading his posts and conversing with him. He was also some kind of magical font of knowledge or something.

My question is, does anybody know what happened to him? Where did he go?

I think I saw him on NeoGAF just a few months ago.

I just finished my last final (which I felt went better than I thought it would), and with that, I've finished high school!
