Are any of the ITL Canadians willing to marry me so that I can move to Canada if Trump wins the election? I'm trying to come up with an escape plan just in case...

*shakes head* this might be the first year I decide to vote just so I can try to do what I can to keep Trump out. My god this is such a fucking mess. I'm so disgusted right now. Seriously, he's just buying his way in. I didn't think the Presidency was actually for sale. *throws up hands*

heres the thing. he's actually not buying his way in. he does claim to be using only his own money on his campaign, to show off or whatever, but thats a lie. most of it is actually donations.

Yeah, that's why I'm only 30% joking about marrying someone just to get out of the country.

It's not all that surprising that Trump is winning. This is something that the Republicans brought on to themselves by letting crazy individuals into their party over the past 2 decades. It is kind of fun watching their party self-destruct over this though. For me, the saddest thing isn't that Trump is winning, it's that his competition for the Republican Nomination isn't any better.

The republicans don't have any good candidates. Trump will end the world, but at least we can laugh about it.
