I've missed far too much as of late, but I would at least like to chime in and wish everyone here a Happy Thanksgiving, even for those of you who don't celebrate it today.

I'm Canadian and we celebrate it here too. We just call it by the proper name, second thanksgiving.

In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated in October.

theres a skype group but all of. Two people are in there. And skype is falling out of favor

I do miss the in-browser IRC channel

Maybe we could set up a Discord server? It's basically skype but better. Plus, you can use it either in browser-mode, desktop-mode or cellphone-mode. There can be sub chats for things like rps, nsfw talk yadda yadda and you can set up voice chat rooms as well.

I've literally only used skype for a job interview, fun fact. I thought it was awkward and I wasn't really sure how to close the window so I'll take your word that Discord is better!

I haven't ever had the chance to use Discord for it's Voice comms, but as for a chat, it's quite adequate for chatrooms and the like. even has options for moderators or multiple rooms and whatnot.

I don't use it often myself, since I'm TERRIBLE for opening up programs for just chatting since I'm not sociable, but I could recommend it over skype for text communication alone.
