The graphics in Rune Factory didn't really bother me, it was the voiceovers that drove me nuts >_>

Voices on the DS in general are terrible (MEGMAN ZX ADVENT WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU) or sound terrible due to the terrible speakers (or compression in general) they use. Disgaea DS, for instance, is a butchering of the music

I'm honestly NOT a graphics whore but ... man, the 358/2 Days and BBS shots are a world of difference that it's just so disheartening. I mean, the S-E team can put out something that looks like BBS (though it's just a reuse of the CC Engine, I believe) but the "best" they can do is what 358/2 Days is? Wow ... kind of a sad realization that the DS is pretty much at the limit it'll do 3D wise.

Though ... it'll probably look closer to the FFIV remake than that, I wager, on the actual DS screen.

Of course, it doesn't help that I have both HD Consoles and am so used to their visuals >>. PixelJunk Eden (PS3) and Braid (360) are some beautiful 2D games that have spoiled me recently

Oh I am ... it's more an issue of time to play them. I have something like 15 games to play, NOT COUNTING BACKLOG, from this Fall-Winter. All of them RPGs

That's right ... Shana (Shakugan no Shana) and Kana (Iriya no Sora). There's four blanks on the list so ... Spice & Wolf, Baccano!, Ballad of a Shinigami, Toradora! ... so many choices.
