You forgot to add Mario Kart to Wii and FF titles to your PS3 list there, Zeta. Dunno why FF matters to me, but... I'm such a sucker for FF titles. T-T But they always fail horribly!
... *sob* But then, I guess FF is now also being put on XBox360, isn't it? :\
I'm also worried about future Persona titles. :\
T-T AND WHAT ABOUT KINGDOM HEARTS 3?! O_O If I knew what system that was going to be for, I'd have my answer - no debate. .... But could I count on those being brought to 360 as well?

Mario Kart Wii isn't much of a system seller.
I didn't put any games that are not currently out (especially in America) on the list.
Otherwise, I would have put down FFXIII, etc.

X-Box 360 is all about X-Box live and comparing epeens. I really don't like the community. :[
This household has two hardcore gamers, a niche gamer (me) and a simple casual gamer (my mother). Generally the 360 is used more than anything because the hardcore gamers are the ones who play it. They have played it with friends sometimes but it's never ever a family thing. The PS3 is used like once a month average. The Wii is something everyone in the family uses for one reason or another. All in all I play portable games much more than console games. The PSP has some great RPGs and more on the way. Wii will have soon which I can't wait to play. I've played a lot of RPGs but it has been a while since I was blown away and captured in the experience.
The Wii Shop Channel is highly underrated. It's not just playing games you could get for free by downloading the roms. WiiWare has a lot of fun games.

Personally, if I had to choose 3 of my 17+ systems to punt out my window, I'd choose my Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360.
This new generation of consoles has been a huge letdown.
Oh, and welcome to the forums XD

I know the new ones have been. If I use my Wii its to play Gamecube games and most of the time my PS2 or computer are on. I wish I had a working power adapter for my SNES. Some good old sprite Civ sounds good.
And thanks!

My 360 gets more use than my PS3. The Wii hasn't been used except for Brawl and recently Madworld. I mean, I'll use it more when random titles I care about (Tales of Graces, for instance) but, to be honest, the Wii is a terrible system for someone like me.
360 v PS3 comes down to which exclusives you want. If you're more of an RPG fan, the PS3 is starting to get some good RPG titles (or at least SOME RPG titles) like Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia (unknown if the PS3 port hits America though), Cross Edge (okay it's just fan bait), Valkyria Chronicles, etc. but misses out on a few games (notabky Star Ocean IV, The Last Remnant [PC Version is better!], Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery). To be honest, the only way to "win" here is to have both.
As for the 360 being all about LIVE and comparing e-peens ... no, not really. The generalizations are dumb and should've died years ago. Seriously.
Frankly, I disagree with the PS3/360 being a let down (though the Wii is dumb). The games for them are solid (finally, though the PS3 is still a bit slow on good games) and I can't imagine considering either of them a waste of my money. Sure, their launch and subsequent titles aren't as "OH NEAT" as the PS2 but development times have gotten longer for console games.
Does help that I like practically every genre though so I don't mind picking up, say, a FPS, TPS, Fighter, RPG, etc. when they come out.
For what it's worth, I like XBLA games a little more than the PSN ones. That may change if they start CATCHING UP ON TITLES for the PSN. wtb Suikoden II for US PSN T.T
