I don't know. Being a feminist, I am really at an edge with how some eastern cultures have such limited rights for women. I am an open and cultural person but I can't help but feel disgusted.

I believe China adopted the child selling instead of the infanticide. Or at least have it as an alternative. Correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't kept up-to-date with the Chinese child problems.
As for Women's Rights in America ... *shrugs* In writing, there's not too many laws I wager that are outright sexist. The viewpoints of those upholding those, however, is a different manner. The "social" laws are far from equal.
