>_< nope, we dont' even have pepto pills!! Mom ran out and never bought any!! And on top of that we don't have any tylenol - only Ibuprofen which to me is NOT a pain killer (but my parents seem to think it works).

T-T I'm just... laying here.... suffering... under my cozy blankets... -_-; at least I'm warm....

Ibuprofen is a NSAID-type drug (Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory), so it works better on pain that is associated with muscle ache, such as arthritis. It doesn't do much for headaches that are caused by constricted blood vessels, for that you'll want to use aspirin. However, it is better than Tylenol or aspirin when it comes to treating period cramp. It also does not reduce a fever, you'd want Tylenol for that as well.

I just keep Advil around as a cheap alternative to midol. Otherwise, I don't find it very useful

goddamn, it was slow today

This might sound crazy coming from me but...

With my lungs almost at average strength, I've been thinking of putting on some weight and enrolling into the Canadian Forces full time. I've had a good layout of the physical requirements and the training involved and since I work on my fitness every day, it doesn't seem that bad. o.o I really don't have much use as I am right now and I'm not afraid of putting myself in danger, so I've been thinking. I definitely have the level of discipline and dedication needed.

Of course I hate war and violence, but that's not why someone joins the military. They want to do something with their life, they want to serve their people and they ironically and only sometimes want to bring peace. I for one am not a violent person. I've never gotten into serious physical fight (beyond goofing around). I do however have a strong sense of duty and will never hesitate to follow an order, especially when someone is in danger.

Not rushing into anything of course. There are a few people who want me for one reason or another in the future but no matter what I do, someone will be upset or lonely so I've given up on that part. Joining the forces sounds like a much better life anyways. Following orders is a lot better than dealing with customers and clients! It sounds like such an adventure. :] In my life, I find nothing ever excites me. Maybe something like the military is what I need. This is all a reflection. It'd take a lot of work to gain the upper body strength I would need for enrollment.

Good luck then, to follow that course of action.

Well, I hope to discover what my true feelings on life are, soon enough.

Elys, do you get to pick a certain branch? Like, Army, Navy, Air Force, whatever?

One of my favorite authors was a cook in the Navy for a few years.

I'd never join the military here in America.... for obvious reasons.
