o_o what will tv be like without seeing BILLY MAYS! pitching everything from silly puddy to insurance!

In all truth, it's sad to hear that he passed away - no it's fucking god aweful that he died - but a little piece of me wonders now "Oh, good, so, does that mean that I don't have to quickly turn the channel anymore every Wednesday after Mythbusters before Pitch Men comes on and annoys the hell out of me?"

To be honest, my first thought in regards to Michael Jackson was that my roomate lost one of his idols Now he can only look towards pedobear.

My first thought on Billy Mays was the Shamwow guy killed him. I'm still not convinced this isn't true.

People seriously need a news story to say it wasn't true? LOL A KID SAID MICHAEL TOUCHED HIM HE'S A PEDOPHILE. Humans are so weak. It's funny how much hatred and public distaste Michael soaked up for his life span, but the people who are dispersing this hatred are far, far worse than he is, even if he was a pedophile. Lowly meat bags of carbon. Now that a big name has croaked we can go jump on the bandwagon the media has set out for us.

And another thing.

People act like being a pedophile is like some sort of demon. There are much, much worse problems in said people that are both more emotionally and physically unsafe to society. I know a pedophile and she is the greatest person I could ever be friends with. It's not like she would stalk children and scar their life forever.

I live with a pedophile.

I don't care.

I was going to go and find my stash of pictures of the articles from the stupid "TEACHER HAVING SEX WITH STUDENT" trials to hammer my point in but I lost interest / got distracted by a shiny object / PONIES.

It's just silly two-faced nature of things. People hate gays but will happily beat off to / rejoice at / whatever to (porn or other fake) lesbians, for example.

[spoiler]I use "lesbians" loosely. Enough college parties and bars and you quickly realize that "experimenting" is rather common.

Edit: Just to add, I have my fair share of friends (male and female) that like 'em "young." That said, it's usually cut off to the 16-ish realm. Not something I ask about, to be honest.

I'd also like to say that the "creepy" depends a lot on the age range.

28 and digging young teens, probably a bit more skeptical.

Edit: For what it's worth, I'm 23 and wouldn't really think twice about a 16 yea- old probably. I'd probably ask myself a bit why I'm around a 16 year-old (that isn't, say, Spring Break gone [s]good[/s] [s]bad[/s] awesome) but I digress.
