Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?

<_< Bah, I've spent all morning worrying about something that I am wondering if I had ever should have even started wondering about.

Kinda started day before yesterday when I drug out my senior yearbook to look up something and I saw a familiar name to a friend I haven't talked to in a few years. We were close, he came to my house often to play games and we put our money together even to purchase Super Smash Bros. His mom died (his father divorced but I don't think that he was the real father anyway but I can't remember) and he moved away to FL but when I moved to GA we got back in touch with each other when he e-mailed me.

We spent another year together and then I lost his phone number and waited for him to contact me again but... he never did.

I'm use to friends leaving and stuff but just his family was so glad that we were friends since they often told me that after our visits he use to do a lot better. I kinda feel like I wish I had done more to get back into contact with him and after five years I really would like to know how he's doing again.

<_< Since then I've been batting it in the air... should I bother looking for him. I mean, maybe he DIDN'T want me around anymore. Do I want him around anymore or is it just me feeling guilty and being selfish. I'm prolly a part of his life that he doesn't want to remember?

But, I opened up my laptop this morning and typed in his name just to see what would come up. All I got is a myspace page with no pics and very little clues except that he is in FL (jacksonville but I can't remember if that's correct) is my age (how old was he again... well, we were in the same grade so this is feasible). And the profile makes no secret that he's into games (who isn't, though) but in the books section he has only one name listed David Eddings, but though its not a rare author I also think its kinda funny that David Eddings, my favorite author, I got Sean into myself when I loaned him my over-read Polgara the Sorceress book. He never did tell me if he liked it though.

*Sigh* So, I really don't know if this is the person and I sent message through that myspace contact thing but now I'm worried "How often does he get on?" "Maybe he doesn't get on anymore, I know I don't." "It says he last logged in on the 4th." "Maybe he won't read the message. Just think its spam." "Uggg, IS IT EVEN HIM?!" "If it is, maybe he doesn't want to get back into contact with me."

No point to this story but I just had to rant about it. I have kinda realized though, I'm really excited about the hope of getting back into contact with him. ^_^; He was wanting to go to school to be a chef... I wonder whatever became of that.... :\ I just wish that my google search had produced something a little more, like a real e-mail address.

Not really, my stalker-fu is weak. My roomate is a god at it so I'm just used to the smallest details being able to find anything God damn social networking sites.

Today was just so great. Got to see my farmer friend who I haven't seen in AGES. Before he came into my home he just stood outside staring at me. "Wow...". Apparently he wasn't used to seeing me with short hair, more exposing clothing and glasses? The entire thing was amazing. Talked, caught up on things, played some Bubble Bobble and Brawl. Couldn't stay for long but I still loved it.

Right after that, my BFF invited me over for lunch. Somehow we started chitterchattering around the early afternoon and I didn't leave until like 11. I'm the type of person who loves contact. Hugs are amazing. Touch in general is amazing. She is amazing. Even after that I logged onto Ragnarok Online and we partied it up.

I think my favourite part was holding a hand. Been so long. It feels so good. @-@
