Maybe she's been kidnapped by pirates and forced to attend tap dancing lessons that are taught by a disturbingly masculine female coach with a prominent mustache, all the while learning the noun declensions in Latin and being forced to roll around in butter and coconut milk when she makes a mistake, but is constantly trying to find a way to seduce the pirate captain and persuade him to free her, but then she realizes at the worst possible moment that the captain's actually a woman (I just realized the same thing happened in FFV) but decides to continue with the seduction, but then the captain realizes she's a girl (she had bad eyesight) and kicks her out because she only lets gay men that have lobster fetishes onto her boat and then she comes swimming back to her house and bakes some mango pie and drinks a swig of grapefruit juice and realizes that she wishes she could be a gay man with a lobster fetish, then goes to bed covered in honey fresh from the beehive.

I was bored and then I felt like spewing words. Hm...a lobster fetish actually sounds potentially painful, in retrospect.

This is what comes up when I google "tentacles in popular culture" (excluding the scholar stuff):
1. Stuff about porn and tentacles
2. Tentacle eroticism
3. "Ozric Tentacles and the fruitful offerings of the YumYum Tree"
4. "Your neighbor is into tentacle porn"
5. Purple tentacle fighting
6. Japanese culture invading the USA
...That old furry lobster sounds like a rapist amongst lobsters making a living off of having sex with gay men.
Edit: It seems I typed "racist" instead of "rapist". Maybe it's both?

So, I haven't talked about this in a while but I feel that I should since it also gives me a little more confidence and gets my thoughts in order. Plus, you guys have been a great help.
So, I mentioned back in October for the first time that I was starting to go through the pains of trying to make myself more healthy. Through that I have been going through exercising ideas as well as learning how to eat more healthy.
I've still got a long way to go. My biggest regret is that I didn't have a scale at the beginning of it all to weigh myself. But, my last check up some time back last summer I was at the weight of 263-or something. I also remember getting a stern lecture a few months prior that my weight was just going up and up.
So, anyways, we finally got a scale last week. ^_^ I'm now at EXACTLY 240.
<_< Ok, yes, it's not a lot. 20some pounds at this weight you hardly notice anything. And it's not like I did it with all that much speed either. And it is still such a high number.
However, for someone who has only ever watched her weight increasing in all her 25 years of life, it really is a VERY great feeling of accomplishment. Yes, I still have a VERY long way to go but I'm happy in being able to believe now that what I'm doing IS having an effect. And I do realize that there's so much more that I could be doing still yet.
Still, for me, this is my first milestone reached. ^_^ And so far this week, this feeling of success has really helped me to push food away and get my butt working when I need to. My food choices have changed, maybe they aren't perfect, but hell > last wednesday when I had some herb chicken, I finally had the will power to rip off the skin and wrap it in a napkin (I was at a buffet) and not eat it. Hell, instead of a second plate I just grabbed me a small bowl of soup and walked out with no desert. T-T And their cheesecake is the best. *sigh*
So, just thought I would share that with you guys. ^_^ Because it really has made me feel better. (One year and I've only lost 20 pounds *sigh* well, still... >_< IT JUST MEANS I HAVE TO WORK THAT MUCH HARDER!!)

That's great, Maxine! At this rate, you'll reach your desired weight in a flash. I'm trying to lose some of the weight I gained these past few months, too.
I'm trying to exercise as well, and I went running the other day, but I got really tired and couldn't breathe after 30 mins. I guess I have to work harder, heh.
