There's plenty to see when you go swimming, especially at pools... like the edge of the pool, the water surface, your friends, pool toys... If I get out of the water and want to walk around I can't really see where the edge of the pool is compared to the water. But mostly, yeah, it's helpful to be able to see my friends ... especially if it's a public pool or something like that. I've also had conversations with beach balls before due to my blindness.
But whenever I go swimming it is mostly at the lake, and with my friends, and I don't want to open my eyes underwater anyway ... also, this is Oklahoma, and you can't see anything because the water is red. If I lost my glasses in an Oklahoma lake I'd never be able to find them again!
Here, look at this:
That is what our lakes look like!
Honestly I just hate being without my glasses. I don't even like it in the shower... and that's the only time besides sleeping that I'm without my glasses.

Elysienne has fixed many things this week.
The toilet flushes.
The window screens keep bugs out.
The blinds lift when the string is pulled.
My friend's PS2 is reading stuff.
The aquarium filter motor is spinning.
The hose parts all work as they should, and there is no leaking.
The SD card can be read.
The wireless keyboard doesn't randomly spazz.
The unecessary security camera is now responding.
I think I also stopped getting BSOD whenever one of the printer/scanner/readers is turned on.
I guess it just feels good to have resolved so many problems and learned so many things. I'm not sure about my friend's PS2. Just because it's reading stuff now that doesn't mean it's fixed.
