There's plenty to see when you go swimming, especially at pools... like the edge of the pool, the water surface, your friends, pool toys... If I get out of the water and want to walk around I can't really see where the edge of the pool is compared to the water. But mostly, yeah, it's helpful to be able to see my friends ... especially if it's a public pool or something like that. I've also had conversations with beach balls before due to my blindness.
But whenever I go swimming it is mostly at the lake, and with my friends, and I don't want to open my eyes underwater anyway ... also, this is Oklahoma, and you can't see anything because the water is red. If I lost my glasses in an Oklahoma lake I'd never be able to find them again!

Honestly I just hate being without my glasses. I don't even like it in the shower... and that's the only time besides sleeping that I'm without my glasses.
