It's not that hard, to be honest. KB+mice is more natural but a bit too easy in my opinion. I've gotten quite used to it and it's rather simple.

yeah but

Halo was complete shit compared to most other famous FPS's out at the time

I mean what else was out right at that time? Red Faction? Timesplitters? Fuck year, whichever it was, they were both better games.

But the thing that blows me away is

Half-Life came out in '98

I will never understand how Halo became a household name

and Half-Life didn't

even though Half-Life (and it's sequel) are still considered by aficionados to be "the best PC game ever" (unless the list is topped by Star Control 2 or something)
