True Story:
*ring ring*
Me: BlahBlahBlah Books, this is Kino, how can I help you?
Him: We just got something for Dotty McPerson from Texas. Looks like a birthday card.
Me: Yeah, I saw that. Our mailman sucks.
Him: This one's addressed to us though.
Me: What's the address?
Him: 666 N BlahStreet
Me: No, we're 666 W Blah Avenue
Him: ... I'm opening it.
Me: Don't you dare!
Him: No way, it's a birthday card!
Me: No! Don't do it! I had a card stolen when I was a kid and it SUCKED!
Him: I'm going to open it.
Me: No!
Him: Yes!
Me: If there's cash inside I want half.
Him: Fine.
Me: Okay, bye.
Him: Bye.
*click*
[minutes later]
*ring ring*
Me: BlahBlahBlah Books, this is Kino, how can I help you?
Him: Okay, there's definitely something besides the card inside.
Me: Oh, are you shaking it?
Him: Yeah, I can hear it inside. I went to the house and they had a sign up that said "Sleeping"
Me: Just put it in the mailbox.
Him: I can definitely hear something. Could be cash.
Me: Don't open it.
Him: Yes open it.
Me: No, don't. Just give it to them. Put in it the mail box.
Him: But it could be cash.
Me: No, do the right thing!
Him: . . .
Me: Do the right thing!
Him: Fiiiiine

<_< I've never received mail addressed to other people. ^_^; I don't know what my response would be.
In all honesty, I'd think I'd probably throw it away.... too much hassle to try to explain to the mailman that he put it in the wrong mailbox.

Our mailman is LOUSY and gives us at least one wrong address a week. Sometimes they're not even close, or its for 606 or 660 or some juxtapose of numbers, or for like the half house that is behind ours (666 1/2 W Blah Ave).
Then whenever we try and write "WRONG ADDRESS" it just sits there for DAYS.
GEEEEEEEZ

o_O; I'd go complain about the guy in that case.
<_< But, seriously... we know our mailman on a first name basis (eheh... well... he lives right down the street from us XD )
