Me, I'd probably be sitting beside Kino laughing my ass off with her.

I had a longer post planned but realized it pointless. If you get your rocks off calling in the police or you do so without even trying to negotiate with the people throwing the party, then fuck you.

[spoiler]But that is why party houses in neighborhoods is a bad idea as dealing with fucking neighbors complaining about shit. In a college town.

Schadenfreude has a fucking limit, especially if you're the one causing the suffering.[/spoiler]

It's a VERY easy thing to have a party in a residential neighborhood that DOESN'T bother the neighbors. Or you could at least have it at a sensible hour and not at 2am.

For larger parties, get out of the neighborhood. It's that easy.

If I'm trying to sleep and someone bothers that - I'm calling the police. If it's a party of ten or less - sure, go over and try to talk to someone - but in the conditions stated by Kino - yeah, forget it. No way.

Fortunately, I live in an area that, while close to a college (that doesn't even have a party problem), isn't a party location at all.

Anyway, I found Kino's little party incident to be quite funny in a I-can-totally-imagine-myself-doing-that sort of way.

Meh, whatever, I don't give a shit.

Been bored all day today. A project that started out as a simple new siggy and avvy set somehow turned into me wanting to do a website design. So, I guess I'm making a layout for Narcissu 2 (just 'cause I wanted to do something with the art).

Will probably never had anything placed in the template, but if it comes out good, maybe I'll send it to Agilis and see if he wants to use it (if they EVER get done translating the game T-T).

I wonder if I'll even finish it? I'm just sitting here bored.

Maybe I should've been more clear. It's really just the "LOL +COOL POINTS" reaction to calling the cops. Fuck that. It is stupid that they were all out gallivanting about in public and in the streets and that part they deserved to get fucked in the ass (and probably did some of them a favor before they did something really stupid). That's why I was talking more about the whole "LOL CALLED THE COPS GOD WE'RE COOL" aspect and people who get wet at the idea of fucking with parties intentionally.

See, my problem is the overzealous nazi neighbors that have nothing better to do with their lives than ruin the fun of others. One of our old party houses had a neighbor who'd just sit there watching on the weekend (Thursday-Sunday) and call the cops if more than like 10 people showed up. It was fucking bullshit. God I loved the day we found out he moved out / died / whatever was gone and we didn't have a fucking guy spying on the house constantly (which is probably a crime now that I look back on things since ... you know, people actually lived there).

Our new party house, which has NO NEIGHBORS WITHIN A MILE, has had noise violation calls from people DRIVING BY just to fuck with us. That's what fucking annoys me.

I probably meant to have that clearer in early posts but probably deleted it out of them as part of the "THIS SOUNDS TOO BUTTHURT" editing. Whatever my fault I guess but it was still pretty clear I thought but apparently not.

[spoiler]And, yes, being in College in a College town does not give you a free pass. However, it does serve as a warning to people who live there without attending the college/being past that age/don't party that, yes, there will be loud parties. I live near a military base so I've come to expect to be able to hear certain things (and probably get bombed).

Also, I've come to accept that bars here are scary when everyone there probably has training to kill people. Twice.[/spoiler]
