So, this is what I've been doing for the past four days. Well, a little more than that if you wanna count my crappy paper sketches and storyboarding and debating. Which took like weeks for me to decide what I wanted my next project to be.
<_< *Sigh* Yes, it's Zelda. Proof that it will never be out of my soul. My years spent as a Zelda webmistress has left it's mark on me. It just felt so COMFORTABLE working on a Zelda website. I knew the images by heart, and such.
Anyways, I came at this project with two objectives: 1) I wanted to use colors RARELY used in the Z community or by me. 2) Most of my works have sections nicely divided off with lines in some way. It's the usual way to go. But, this time, I wanted something different. >_> I think I achieved the goal of no lines decently. Obviously I couldn't avoid it altogether, but at least I did away with what I could. My biggest thing was to just not section off the links and content section.
The rest - I made it a POINT to stay away from OVERCLUTTER. I went through Z site after Z site and most of them disgusted me. Links upon links upon lines all up and down the side of each page. This design was kind of a fly in the face of all of that.
Meh, either way, I learned a lot more skills. Some of the stuff I learned isn't even featured here since it was "flopped" ideas.
I dunno if I'm going to hand it off to anyone or not. I'll first see if Archaic wants it and then debate from there.

There's no shame in being linear. Somewhat.
And, on a not at all related note, sometimes when I press the g key on my keyboard, it will stay down until I press it again. It's not too much of a problem, but sometimes it causes a long line of g's to appear if I'm not paying attention. And it feels awkward.
And I'm too lazy to do anything. :P

Make that very lazy.
But the g handicap is what makes my keyboard truly unique. Unlike all those other jocks who walk around with a full set of foreign characters, my keyboard is content to stay in the shadows with the standard QWERTY setup, and he takes pride in his sticky key (not to be confused with the shift feature), and has learned to live with it.
