Discussion Thread II: Bots? What bots?

The only one ever in there is heprea. I sort of hung around for a few days a couple weeks ago to see if I could identify some activity pattern in the channel, but it seems there is no regular activity in there. I did catch Sampson doing that GTFO thing that one time, though, and that was pretty awesome.

I check back every once in a while, but don't stay if I don't see anyone. Does anyone other than you or heprea go there...?

<_< I try to announce when/if I'm going to be in there. Lately, though, I've been focusing efforts on trying to get some updates going for both of my sites. So my 'chat time' has been limited, and will probably be even more so now that I'm back in school.

Linking to your Atlus Blog would be fine. These are your sites, but more importantly, we're all Atlus fans here anyway.

Btw, sorry if it seemed like a personal thing. I just mentioned this site as an example. I was actually wondering why web sites are so often poorly maintained/updated. A company will hire someone to fix them a web site for a certain campaign/promotion/event, then post news updates for a few weeks or so, and then the site is just abandoned. Even if new info is available ("hey there fans, we're currently working on such and so; just got this or that done") or another, similar event is happening, they'll just have someone do a new web site without bothering to link to or update the old one.

As for web design requiring a $1000 camera, that's just nonsense. Okay, an El-Cheapo brand one wouldn't do, but even if you want to zoom in to a particular detail and blow that up to full screen size, today's cameras take pictures at such high resolutions (# of pixels) that even a low-end camera should be sufficient.

About the maps or site tweaks question, I think it's time to start discussing whether we want to keep the focus of this forum only on EO and EO2, or expand to similar games (same genre? Atlus? NIS?). I would like it if games like 7th Dragon and Class Of Heroes were included for example. If there is interest in discussing those, of course.

The problem there is - Max doesn't have those games.

I really would AT LEAST like to do 7th Dragon, but I've never even played the game. >_< BRING IT OVER, DAMMIT!!

A forum re-vamp of some sort was another thing I was considering. Just a re-arranging so that way it could accomodate those who want to chat that are coming from the Atlus Blog. I haven't put much consideration into it, honestly.

And I wasn't really sure if you were being personal or not, so I kinda tried to make sure that I covered all aspects of your question ^_^
