I once had whole pig in Germany. We were on a school excursion, and the piglet was presented as if it was something quite special. Everyone was really weirded/grossed out though, seeing a roast piglet on a dish. The meat tasted good, though not really different from regular pork.

Oh, that reminds me. There was a news report on our local station yesterday. Apparently overnight someone had gotten on the top of the roof of a turkey farm and spray painted "Set Us Free". I thought it was pretty fucking hillarious - and pretty fucking stupid. But, you gotta applaud the group's efforts (it was signed PETA underneath, but, of course, they sent a letter to the station saying that "they didn't do it" but that they agreed with it... I think they did it... HAVE SOME FUCKING BALLS AND ADMIT IT!!)

(Editted this in:) I think what made it even more hillarious, now that I think about it, was that the owners were so PISSED. Some farmer-Joe character on the TV telling the cameras that if the culprit was found he was going to prosecute them for vandalism. XD

Meh, I don't give a shit. I'm still going to enjoy my turkey this coming November :3
