my high school had an exchange program with south korea

that was cool, but I mean plenty of my korean friends had only been in america for several years, so it wasn't amazing

too bad I wasn't an academic genius so I could go over there

Sister cities, also known as town twinning, is an agreement between towns, cities and even counties in geographically and politically distinct areas to promote cultural and commercial ties.

I still don't get how it works. Every state I've ever been to has always been so culturally diverse. I don't get how a place millions of miles away could possibly attempt to "duplicate" it. ... o_O I can't even think of HOW they would? What the hell are they duplicating?
