I'd like to take the time to note that I spent a Thursday prime-time drinking/partying/clubbing/trying to get laid/failing to get laid and thus drinking more/etc. night dealing with a suicidal girl (that I may or may not have had a hand in on the situation).

And, somehow, this doesn't feel like that strange of a night. And I have no idea why I had to post that here. And now I must go and start drinking so I feel better about things.

Not really numbing, just we were planning on drinking and ended up not and I was sad.

It's Homecoming this weekend. I'm working a double-shift all day. At least the events are scheduled so that I'll be working while everyone's off doing shit, rather than bothering me.

The parade is at 2pm and goes right in front of my store, so I'll get to watch it from my desk. The game is at 8pm -- traffic will be a bitch-kitty, so I think I'm going to bundle up and bicycle to work.

My dad came to eat lunch with me and watch the parade. Yay!
