I just use the thing so that there's no OVERLY SIZED images that stretch out my beautiful forum and I actually like the feature A LOT and I wasn't the one who coded it (I wouldn't even know where to begin).
It's been REALLY nice in the NSFW section and the Hetalia topic. Oh and of course let's not forget our wonderful Random Image topic.

Clicking a huge image disables the web page behind it, meaning you have to scroll through the whole thing just to find the little "x" and close it if you want to continue browsing at all
I end up just opening everything in new tabs.

Really, noodles, stop being dumb.
I don't mind the way images load. I like that they reduce in size, and I like being able to click them large, and if I want to I can always right+Click them into a new tab.

I find it dumb that it overrides the ability to link thumbnails (since it defaults to viewing the image).
Otherwise, who cares I guess. I do think it's unnecessary though.
Besides, middle-click still defaults to "Open in New Tab" so if that's what you really want ... you can still do that.
Couldn't they have put some cuter stickers on that thing?
@lightbox - It does prevent putting links on images though, which is bad for sigs.
