Wow, good on you overcoming your fear of driving.

I find the idea of trying to control such a complicated machine in dangerous traffic very intimidating too. I don't have much reason to force myself to overcome it though. I get around just fine without a car. Besides, cars are expensive.

I have a serious mental condition and developed phobia when it comes to driving automobiles. Many have said it was because of my first driving instructor, and I tend to agree. She was such a horrible, frightening person. It is no surprise that she was fired not long after I was done.

Either way you can sign me up. If I do get a vehicle it will be something small like a Smart or possibly a motorbike. Magnetic electrics will hit the worldwide market eventually. For now I am happy with public transportation... and my two feet. I love walks.
