I have a bad track record with New Year's.

In fact, the last time I remembering having fun on New Year's was when I bounced back and forth between RPing online and getting the trophy from the mayor in Animal Crossing.

Well, I'm back after my trip down to my moms place Christmas and the like. And I had a damn blast, except for a horrifying run in with something that was either a mild heart attack or me turning into an alien in a way similar to Wikus. Had a great New Years, reconnected with some old friends, drank boat loads of Wild Turkey and malt liquor and generally lived it up. Of course now all these threads are going to be confusing, after almost 2 weeks without reading...

*sigh* So, I finally built up the guts to look at my grades for the semester.

-_- Java was a C. I mean, I passed and all and got the credits but... just sucks. My favorite class. >_< This coming semester on the 19th I have Thursday night Internet With Java class >:[ I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED THIS TIME!! It's the same teacher so there won't be any surprises. I'M GOING TO STUDY MY ASS OFF FOR EVERY DAMN TEST!! (*pouts* like I didn't do that before....)

So I had this phone interview about a year and a half ago for my current job, kind of the preliminary step before they bother giving you a real interview and getting the expensive background checks. They called me when I was in the middle of a party, and I'd been drinking. When they asked me what it was I wanted most from the job, I almost quoted Conan.

I have a feeling that hearing the lamentation of their women wouldn't have gone over so well.

The thing that actually got me a real interview in the first place at the last company I worked for was my answer to the same basic question, except I quoted Brain: "The same thing I do every night—try to take over the world!" Needless to say, that was the funnest place I ever had the pleasure of working. It changed me.
