Yes, you're always upbeat, Noodles. You just seem even more so since yesterday

I feel kinda ambivalent about love. On one hand, I know it's very unlikely to happen to me and I'm okay with that, but on the other hand, cultural pressure that says everyone must be looking for love is everywhere and it is hard not to feel bad about it

Which isn't to say I have anything against others looking for or being in love. When I said I'm happy for Noodles I meant it.

My problem lies in the greed and selfishness in others. Humans are so fixed with this "couple" idea. If I hook up with another I have to stop loving somebody else. It bothers me even more when they make threats of violence over it. There are a few people who pretend to agree with me, but then when I frolic with another they chew me up for it.

It depends on how you mean, Remme. Me, I think if you are loving someone as a "couple" that is the only person you could love as a "couple". However, if you mean that because you have hitched up with someone that means you cannot hang out with close-friend-you-love, then, yes, that's wrong.

When it comes to love, I would want to be selfish, however, I would understand that we both have people on either side of us that we also love. Just as long as it's not gonna spark some sort of affair against me, I think I would be ok with it and would hope he would treat me the same.

But I say this as someone who's not dated and really has no clue what she would do.

Not a total stranger: I was there for at least three hours. Even then I do not have any qualms even if it were a total stranger as long as they are not distasteful.

Also, in complete contrast with what noodles posted: I love somebody, and they love me, and I hate it.
It is a horrible feeling.
