I disagree. Accent refers specifically to the way in which a person sounds, whereas the dialect is based on what they say. My original question was in error in that it should have said "which accent do you have" since we all have one.
Dialect refers vocabulary; what you say. Accent is how you say it. Conceivably I could say "Nancy moved clear 'cross t'e hollar 'bout a yeer 'go." in the poshest of British accents, the sing-songiest of Swedish accents, the gruffest of Russian accents, etc. What I say has no baring on how it is said.

Its nice that you were safe on that day Kino! (A little late)
Also, I went to six flags over texas on saturday, had fun, didn't ride enough rides, the usual! [I rode everything EXCEPT Mr. Freeze [I'd go insane] and La Vibora.... =[ .... La Vibora is my favorite ride... Oh yeah, I also didn't ride anything that Spinned.

I read the article.
I read the comments.
I then reread the article.
I've been sitting here now for about 5 minutes trying to figure out who's missing the point.
Hint: I'm thinking it's the spam bot with the Armani ad.
Anyway, there's two points being made--a change in the controls (i.e., dumbing down the game) and a change in the franchise (i.e., a fresh surprise for Zelda fans).
I honestly hope their idea of "simplifying" the game isn't Motion+ alone ... and I really hope whatever solution they have in mind doesn't involve motion controls at all, really. Not that the games need to be any easier though; this franchise is already among the easiest in gaming history anyway. I'm really curious as to what was "too complicated" before. What, "find item in dungeon use item 3 times to beat boss" wasn't straightforward enough? The dungeon designs? Seriously, what needs simplifying?
As for the directions of the game itself, ... .... I dunno. I'd like voice acting as that's really the only radical change (unless we drop every old Zelda plot cliche) that could happen. Meh, who knows. Open-world would be interesting but that doesn't really coincide with simplifying the game. Honestly, nothing short of a radical change to the normal franchise would be a surprise so I'm not quite sure what to expect here--as long as the next game has the cookie-cutter Zelda foundation, nothing else really comes as a surprise.
That is, OoT's time warp, MMs day mechanic, WWs boat, TPs ... ... ... Wolf Link, I guess?, SOUL TRAIN, etc. all don't necessarily matter. It's still a Zelda game. Those don't change the fact that they're a Zelda game and their additions don't really change the game.
Also, obligatory fuck you SOUL TRAIN. I still need to finish that but I just can't bring myself to do it.
You know, if they let me play this next entry with a regular controller that'll suffice for a big surprise.
Went to see Eddie Izzard yesterday night. It was fantastic. Kino would have especially loved this one: he went over god, evolution, world history and language.
7th row, nice and close.
Most people hung around outside and didn't get their asses filed in until a good 10 minutes after formal start time.
Sorry about the last pic. My phone's camera is shit.
