First time being called a skank today.
My friends caught me gawking at this very attractive man today, and soon enough they began to do the same. I swiftly made my way over to him and introduced myself. While talking I found out he was a writer and stuff and I got a hug before he had to go. I returned to my friends knowing that they would want to be filled out on the details. Just because I had the gall to speak up and not just stare I'm apparently a skank now.
Do not think I am a skank so much as I have never been one to hide and shy away when it is not necessary.

It never ceases to amaze me how often stupid people are put in charge. My friend was telling me about how her boss asked her if Austrailia was in America a few days ago. She almost couldn't believe the epic geography fail. I don't blame her. I would have been insulted by the question or thought it was a joke if I were in her shoes
Then again, considering that my boss had to ask me once to figure out a microwave, it must be an infection that's spreading...
(oh, just to use it, not to program the time on it, by the way, because nobody can do that...)

The fact she is an English teacher is all the more reason not to care. Learn what you need to learn to get through life. If you want to pick up on a foreign culture, that can be your own little hobby. I think it's plain silly when videos like that honestly expect people to have knowledge of outside countries. I fail to see how the rest of the world matters, really.
Unless you are entering trade or something like that, it's not going to get you any further in life. Certainly not any further than wasting production time on such a silly program that is supposed to gauge how stupid someone is. Oft not are the biggest contributors to society book smart.
Some people in that video were genuinely brain dead, but others times it's just the fact they are getting right in their face and asking them obvious questions. If someone comes up to me and asks "HOW MANY SIDES DOES A TRIANGLE HAVE?", I will hesitate and try to see if there is some underlying intent or some sort of trick.
Silly.

I disagree with that outlook.
(But yes, seemingly stupid responses to questions like the triangle one do come down to psychological/contextual factors not related to the question itself much of the time.)
Edit @eharper256: I've always regarded microwave oven usability to be crap in general. The idea of operating one is relatively simple, but implementations vary widely and each model has its own idiosyncratic UI. I wouldn't blame your boss for asking you about that.
