So, if you guys are Twilight Zone nuts like myself, you'll probably know this episode: a mother wakes up to the sound of her child crying from beneath her bed, but when the mother looks, the child is no where to be seen: she has somehow entered an alternate dimension where she is heard but not seen.

This morning I swear I was living that episode. I had left my cellphone on vibrate after school by accident but I left it on a table we have in the dining room. When I went to get it this morning, it was not there. Mom said she had picked it up to check to see if it needed charged and she couldn't remember what happened afterwards. When we called it we managed to locate the source of vibrating: living room.

Sounds like... AROUND THE COUCH! which we have pressed up against a wall with two windows sandwiched between a video cabinet and a side table which is also next to one of those old fashioned furnace heaters.

We pulled the blanket-protectors up from the couch, we lifted up the recliners on them, we pulled the couch out from the wall - we generally looked EVERYWHERE. I was five minutes late to work. We could hear it vibrate but we couldn't find it! I swear I could hear the Twilight Zone theme song playing somewhere.

I went to work (feeling very miffed at mom for having moved it in the first place even if it was to do something nice... ok, I was downright pissed at her x_x after being sick I was not in a very good mood and this didn't improve things) and when I came home mom was asleep and so I recruited my little sister to the search. I'm calling my cellphone on my mother's cellphone and we are trying to figure out where the FUCK this cellphone is.

And then I call it one more time and as we are standing there going "shhhh" to each other again suddenly - A VOICE!! A VOICE SPEAKS THROUGH THE PHONE!! O_O

"H-h-hello?" At first I actually thought of hanging up like OMG WRONG PHONE NUMBER! but then I realize - no that it is in my cellphone number on the display and that the voice is my half-asleep mom.... whose room is right above the living room.

XD XD XD CASE SOLVED!! The phone wasn't vibrating against the floor - it was vibrating against the ceiling! ^_^;; I go upstairs and mom's like "Oh, that's right... I brought it up here after mine died and called dad."

*sigh* So the only Twilight Zone in this case is my mom's brain.
Still o_O;; how thin are these upstairs floors..... .......

(oh btw, it took 19 missed calls to find my phone o_O; )

Well, I guess that means you can't go around bashing the upstairs floors with a sledgehammer.

^_^; why... would you do that anyways XD

Whack-a-Mole.

*sigh* So, today was a sheer aweful day. I kinda knew it would be last night.

tl;dr: R.I.P. Rissa's mouse. It's been a long, sad day.
[spoiler]To start off with, a refresher: my sister has pet mice (four girls, four guys separate cages) Like I wanna say a few weeks if not a month ago she lost the original 'dad' mouse. It was incoming. When the mom had given birth she had separated the dad for fear it would attack them or whatever and the new cage had a busted bottle. Cage got wet, dad got sick. Dad never really got over cold. End of story.

Then this past week she's been seeing her fave mouse, Emo (due to its antisocial personality) take a small personality change, wanting to be closer to everyone but in addition to this she was also stating that she was worried about the hot weather and them. I guess they(or just one, I'm not sure) was acting all hot yesterday and she was worried so she stuck the cage in my room with my new AC. Then she left to go to a friend's wedding rehearsal and spent the night.

I checked on the cage and found Emo seriously despondent. I'm not mouse-expert but I can tell when a creature is... not good. x_x I spent all last night worried about that damn mouse and even said a prayer for it. Rissa came home and... well... she knew too. Roughly an hour later she bursts into my room worried about an odd movement it started doing and well... by the time she showed me... it was obvious that it had taken its last breathe.

-_- RIP Emo-Mouse.

It's been a sad day. Not as sad as it could be for a cat or dog as Rissa seems to make a distinction that they are just flimsy creatures but... fuck... that was her favorite mouse because of its odd personality, its fluffy-ness, and just... she loved it.

Rough day... x_x and I had to talk it out somewhere ^_^;

Four girls, two boys remain. I'm worried that it's something contagious, really. I helped her clean the cages. PLEASE GOD, PLEASE DO NOT LET ANY MORE DIE SO SOON LIKE THAT!! >_< Please let it not be something contagious and wipe out the rest of the males. ... and why the hell did I just spend the night praying over the life of a mouse o_O; The irony in the situation was kinda incredible. I think they are rodents who are nothing more than cat food. (I praise my cat Zoey for being a Grade-A mouser :3 ) and I don't even like to touch them hardly. So, it was kind awkward to be bent over a cage saying a prayer for it.

God still called it home, but, I still thank Him a lot for waiting until Rissa got back and could say farewell.[/spoiler]

so basically I come home and there hasn't been a single post

I agree. Where has everybody gone. T-T Kino and Zeta are both gone, too. *sob*

Maybe they've joined a cult [s]that worships the color blue[/s] that forbids green websites.
