Can opener is primarily an electrical device. Honestly, I didn't even think you guys were gonna know what the hell a butterfly opener was :3

I'm 15 and I know what a butterfly can opener is... They are the superior can openr! Have you ever tried slitting someone's throat with an electric can opener? Pssh. Just try going on a murderous rampage while finding electric sockets near every victem!!

Jokes a lot of times fail online, due to the only text nature of online communication. Has happened to me, as well.

And can openers are primarily only an electronic device now because people are lazy and everything is practically automated.

And as for not knowing what a butterfly opener is, I probably am one of the oldest on these boards.

I've never seen one. Don't know anyone who has one. I've also never heard the term "butterfly opener" before; that's just a can opener.

The reason I prefer them, though, is 'cause they make a cute little lid for the can that can be replaced back on (life saver for dog food) and there's no sharp edges to cut myself on <3

Maybe I'd think they were awesome if I ever used one.

I must say, though, that I can't find fault with the regular kind. I like best to leave a tiny bit un-opened to keep the lid attached.
