Nope. I was definitely bed ridden and was forced to drink plenty of water (yuk! at the time). ^_^ I got to sleep in mom and dad's great big bed during the day. Obviously I got restless a lot so while the door was closed I would get up and have fun with my stuffies. Since it wasn't an area I got to play in normally it was the greatest thing EVER!
The last few days though I was able to go outside and play on my swingset (I was probably starting to whine about my "captivity" at that point, no doubt, though I can't recall). No video games at that age. Just my swingset and my sandbox <3
We didn't have many legos in my house. Obviously we had one or two sets but for us we enjoyed Lincoln Logs a LOT more. ... I would create houses for my stuffies or pretend they were in cages or in jail. Legos pissed me off - the older brother (like in his teens) would build robots and really impressive things with the legos... and obviously being 5 I didn't have that creative capability yet. ... It pissed me off so I fell out of love with the things. ^_^;; .... >_< I STILL HATE LEGOS!! Unfortunately... I still do not have the creative capability to construct something.
....Which reminds me. I got an Erector Set from my dad when I was like 10ish. Greatest thing on earth. I enjoyed creating things from the designs that came with it. Until one day my dad built something that wasn't in a design. o_o ... .... soon after I got pissed off at the erector set and stopped playing with it. *sigh* -_-; I'm just not "creative" in that way it seems and it really kills my joy of the object.
