IT'S FINALLY OVER!!

Ok, this is a bullshit story (but it's ok 'cause this is the bullshit thread).

I'm sure Kino and some of you will recall the day in the anime thread like two weeks ago that I said "OMG SPIDER!! O_O IT DISAPPEARED!!"

A few days later it's morning and I hear an odd buzzing sound. Thinking it's a bee, I flee. It's trapped up in my light. I think "oh good, you will die soon, right?"

I come in, no sign. Another day later, buzzing, and it starts flying around my room to get trapped in the light. I realize: "oh, it's not a bee. it's some odd bug."

That weekend my sister and I are playing on the computer and she identifies it as a "stink bug". It terrorizes me some more and Rissa laughs and says she'll catch it if it reveals itself again. The next week or two (I can't remember time frame here) this bug appears and disappears randomly and at different times. IT WON'T FUCKING LEAVE ME ALONE AND JUST DIE!!

:3 Well tonight it landed on my bed. I get mom who captures it in a tissue and disposes of it. .... It's not that I was really "afraid" of it but actually >_> I didn't want to kill it because Rissa told me it will "stink really bad." *sigh* "mom, how do I kill this thing...." "Like this..." *captures it in a tissue and throws it into the toilet* ..... <3 moms are awesome bug killers, even/especially if you are 26 and full of fail -_-;; Damn I felt so 12 year-old tonight.

:3 But it's kewl now!! MY TIME OF TERROR IS AT AN END!!

Tonight I shared wine and laughter with New York Times bestselling authors

The Creative Writing faculty at Old Dominion, and Bonnie Jo Campbell (visiting author; she's up for the National Book Award). There was a party/meet and greet for the department tonight. I went with Mr Kino and went around introducing myself as Mrs Kino

One of the authors at ODU even had an Oprah Book Club selection (which means huge sales)!

*deep breathe and stretches* :3 PART 1 OF 4 IS COMPLETE!!

*looks around sneakily* ... I can take a break....

Part 3 is another project I have to construct from the ground up, so I'm gonna do that next.

Part 2 is a series of 3 brief essay questions. Part 4 is a modification of a project we created in class.


In other news, I'm worried about our shiatsu mix, Cody, who's limping on his front paw.
