Haha :3 you're right. I missed that one.
Lily and Zoey both hate visitors, so I easily forget. Whistle, a previous cat of mine, LOVED visitors.

Cats and dogs are so different. I have a hard time considering one better than the other.
Cats are definitely easier though >_>

I like them both equally. But since my parents are mean, I've never had either.

We have two cats, one beagle, and one shiatsu mix.
.... and about five mice (that are my sister's and I have nothing to do with them)
Oh and my other sister has a pitbull.
...... I love the cats, the beagle is stubborn but at least he's fucking INTELLIGENT. The shiatsu is just a bully who sometimes 'gets it', and the pitbull is even dumber than the Shiatsu and swears that he's just as small. The fucking thing has tried to crawl up into our laps as easily as the other two dogs. T-T IT DOESN'T WORK, ASH!! YOU'RE TOO BIG!!!
It's kinda funny, though, how they react to the business of going outside. Zoey has only been outside once in her life - and has NEVER expressed interest going back out. Lily doesn't give a shit (and lately casts glares on us when we open the door like "hurry up, you're letting the cold air in!").
As for the dogs, we have an electric fence set up. First to be let out the door, we taught Blou to scratch at the door - he got the concept the first week he was with us (puppy of course). The Shiatsu ... sits there... quietly. Thankfully, Blou likes to go out on a frequent basis. Ash... barks O_O;;
To train them for the fence: We put white flags up, Blou is obviously scared shitless at first, but again, "he gets the concept" after being shocked once or twice. And not only does he know the boundaries, he rides them and the moment the fence goes down (dead battery or whatever) HE'S GONE.
The shiatsu still gets shocked. There have been times he gets shocked, sits there for a few seconds after backing up, then tries again. Thankfully he rarely shows an interest in going out the boundaries.
Ash... he gets shocked and he refuses to leave the porch for a week afterwards... it's a good thing we have yet to get around to painting the porch. *sigh*
To be let inside, Blou didn't even have to be taught "hey! scratching worked to get me out, I bet it works to get me in, too!!" And if we don't hear him, he starts a light yap now and again with a combination of scratching. (All scratching done by Blou is very light, and... just the way we taught him to do it. Three scratches, stop, wait, three more scratches.)
Cody... doesn't get it. He has been left outside over night several times. Not that he seems to mind since my dad said he STILL had a hard time getting Cody inside afterwards. (I'd like to build Cody a doghouse since I think he would LOVE it :3 ). Still, now lately he's doing this odd thing so I think he's getting A concept. When the dogs start barking too much, we open the door, hollar at them and tell them to come in. (Now this has happened enough times now to where it's just not coincidence anymore) Cody lately has taken to barking on the porch. Now this is the funny part x_x he's barking out towards the street.... AT NOTHING, but the moment the door is opened, he runs in, wagging the tail as if he has successfully accomplished something.
And Ash, when he comes over, barks, whines, and pounces on the door DEMANDING to be let in. - our screen door still needs repaired.

strangely this reminds me of a time a lady brought in a bark suppressor to get a new battery she gives it to me to to look at. I look at it and try to ask what battery it takes. It still had the old battery in it and as soon as I spoke it shocked me. it was like my arm went numb. It did however shut me up. I about decked that old broad.
old people scare me and so do their dog collars would be the moral of the story.

I hate cats.
However, some of my friends like their cats.
One in particular, even has this button on his backpack:
Despite loving his cats, even he knows they suck.

Trying to unstress myself after a hard day at work, I'm sitting on my bed, listening to music, and drawing up storyboard ideas for the design of the finalized signature creation program. <3 I always feel better after I've either written something or worked on a website.
