I hate when my glasses fog up and I can't see anything. I hate getting dressed in the mornings in a cold house and feeling like I'll never be warm again. I hate having to bundle up to the point my outfit just becomes layers and layers of black.

I just wish it wasn't so WINDY. Fucking winter on the plains is nasty.

I just realized I have never dressed up as a jiang shi for Halloween, or any event for that matter. It's a shame! :[ Since jiang shi are much cooler than the western emo Count Chocula brethren, in my opinion at least! The costume would be rather simple. White hair, make-up to make myself look dead, dull hanbok and of course a blank expression!

Oooh a monster I have not heard of. Please, Zandrena. Would you explain what a jiang shi is? I'm sure I could learn from wikipedia but ^_^ I'd like to hear from someone that sounds knowledged on it.

Basically an old Chinese take on the undead, embraced by other oriental cultures. Before western influence they were attributed with hopping around and sucking the life out of the living. Sadly after western influence they got vampiric qualities. Fiction often has them defeated with the placement of a talisman, usually on the head, which stops them in their tracks. Since the concept is old, they are usually wearing traditional clothing.

I hate how they're just "Chinese Vampires" these days. Even if they originated from China, other eastern countries have slight variations. :[

"Absortion" "Blood" "Demon" :3 That's what each letter stands for, too.

I find it humorous, too, that "Tsuki" also means moon, though it's a different character: 月

But, still, interesting, I felt.

@Zandrena: Well, from what I understand, not even the original vampires have today-vampire characteristics. In fact, today's vampires are nothing more than what has been created by Hollywood, but I've not studied the monsters too deeply so I can't be sure.
